About me
I have always loved dogs and always had them in my life.
As I look back on all of the dogs I have been lucky enough to share my life
with, I remember the immense joy that each one brought me. I have to admit to a
tinge of sadness though as I now recognize that each one was inadvertently
given the job of looking after me.
Because of their own unique personalities each dog handled their role in
different ways but with each showing subtle signs of the pressure this put on
them.
However I was presented with huge problems when I took in a pregnant rescue dog.
Having been a dog trainer at obedience clubs that was my first port of call but,
I found that dog training classes only made her worse and I was forced to
remove her.
I was at the end of my tether and probably labeled the neighbour from hell due
to my dogs behaviour.
I stumbled across Jan Fennells, Amichien® bonding method and called in one of her team of Dog Listeners to help with my
own dogs as a last resort (as is so often the case.) I found it to be the
answer I was looking for.
I was so impressed with the results I got that I enrolled myself on to her
foundation course. Jan invited me back to her advanced course and I now hold
the Jan Fennell certificate of Advanced Canine Communication.
This method has changed my life and I feel blessed to be able to go out and help
others to transform their lives and the lives of their dogs.
